I need all the help I can get on choosing a computer. I want a Laptop that can at least meet the requirements to play a game (mainly AE). The problem is I know nothing about how to choose. I hope one of you know and can help me. I want to keep it at the lowest cost as possible. Here's is what I found so far. Of course if any of you have any suggestions, please show me!

Asus G51VX-RX05

I don't really know what refurbished means.

Battalion 101 W251 HPQ

I like this one.

Battalion 101 W150 HRQ

Though this one seems better but I don't know why (and of course a bit more expensive).

Alienware M11X
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=dkcwat1&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&model_id=alienware-m11x-r2

An external disc drive though?

Alienware M14X
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=DKDOBV2g&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&model_id=alienware-m14x

I like this one too.

Somebody help!

The Batallion 101 W251 is a sweet machine for a good price. It's actually a rival for the Alienware M14x. For $300 difference, the Batallion will do the job without a problem at all. Make sure you do the free upgrade to 8GB RAM though, it's in the scroll list on the right. Yeah, get the Batallion. It also has 5 star reviews.

Note: The Batallion 101 W150 isn't much better spec wise than the W251, so I can't justify the $200 difference. I mean it has a 1GB better graphics card in it, and a fingerprint scanner. Not worth $200.

The other 2 machines I would ignore, as they are all faulting in their own ways. These 3 are the best spec wise. I mean hell, the Alienware M11x is 1.2 GHz. That was acceptable in 2001 when I bought a Gateway with a 1.3 GHz processor (The fastest one available at the time actually... it was obsolete within 11 days).
